Ingredients
Making bubble tea at home is very easy and only requires a few ingredients. You will need black tea, your favorite type of milk, and some tapioca pearls. You can also get creative with other ingredients like fruit juices, different types of tea, and different types of milk.
For this recipe, we will be using 1 cup of black tea, 1 cup of your favorite milk, and 1/2 cup of tapioca pearls.
Instructions
The first step is to make the tea. Put 1 cup of black tea leaves in a teapot or pot and add 1 cup of boiling water. Steep the tea for 5 minutes. Once the tea is ready, strain the tea leaves and let the tea cool down.
In a separate pot, bring 1/2 cup of tapioca pearls to a boil in 2 cups of water. Once the pearls are cooked, strain them and set aside.
In a tall glass, combine 1 cup of the cooled tea, 1 cup of your favorite milk, and 1/2 cup of cooked tapioca pearls. Stir until all of the ingredients are combined.
Add some ice cubes to the glass and enjoy your homemade bubble tea!
